Founded in 1995, Charon Software (pronounced SHAHR-en) specializes in creating software solutions which are highly reliable and usable. We design products for usability before software engineering begins, and strive to follow "user-based" design as pioneered by Alan Cooper. Our areas of focus are: developer components and tools; communications technology; shipping, logistics, and distribution; industrial automation; asset tracking (barcode/RFID technologies); digital lifestyle. Our clients include major military, industrial, commercial, medical, and government entities. We accept a limited number of contract-based projects as time allows.
